The Emergency Animal Hospital of NW
Austin (EAH) was founded by a group of eight local
veterinarians recognizing the need for a separate, fully
staffed emergency animal hospital in Austin Texas. In 1984, EAH became Austin’s foremost veterinary hospital devoted
exclusively to emergency and critical care. In July 1997,
the EAH became the first emergency and critical care
hospital to expand its emergency services by opening their
second facility in South Austin. The Emergency Animal
Hospital of NW Austin is now housed in two regionally
convenient state-of-the-art facilities, with over 19,000
