Here at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin, our team is ready to handle your pet's veterinary emergencies every evening during the week, and on a 24-hour basis over the weekends. We strive to provide the best emergency vet care administered by the most talented staff members, and to that aim, we would like to introduce our newest Northwest Austin vet, Dr. Chloe Matelski.
Our newest veterinarian, Dr. Matelski, graduated from Texas A&M with her DVM in 2015, and is excited to join the team here at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin. Dr. Matelski earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M along with attending the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science as well as the University of North Texas.
Dr. Matelski is a world traveler who brings the weight of her experiences studying abroad in Kenya, Italy, and Spain to bear on her veterinary practice. She continues to travel as much as she can. Her veterinary specialties include emergency surgery and internal care. She particularly relishes the opportunity to conquer challenging, unique, and unusual cases.
When she is not traveling or working to keep the pets of Northwest Austin healthy and safe, Dr. Matelski loves spending time with her husband, Ray, and their own three dogs, Buddy, Zoe, and Juno. When they are able to carve out some free time to relax together, Chloe and Ray enjoy grilling out, camping, and biking.
We here at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin would like to welcome Dr. Matelski to our emergency vet clinic. We feel she will prove to be an invaluable addition to our team. The next time your pet has an after-hours veterinary emergency in northwest Austin, do not hesitate to call us at 512-331-6121.
