The Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin (EAHNWA) has merged with Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital (CTVSEH). We feel that together our Hospitals will be stronger and the increased resources will provide superior quality customer service to our patients, clients and veterinary partners.
Both EAHNWA and CTVSEH have grown their hospitals in Austin for over 20 years and we are committed to remaining locally owned and operated. We continue to be managed and staffed by board-certified veterinarians whose combined years-of-experience is unprecedented in the Austin area.
It is our commitment that joining these two powerful forces together will provide superior, multi-disciplined veterinary medicine for all central Texas pet owners. With three full-service specialty and emergency hospitals located in Southwest and Northwest Austin and now in Round Rock, our clients, and family veterinarians will have easy access to this unique approach to caring for pets requiring veterinary specialty care.
Our Critical Care department in north Austin is still open 24-hours, with a board certified, veterinary criticalist on staff. The emergency rooms open at 6 pm and are open nights, weekends and holidays for after-hour urgent and critical care when your regular veterinarian is closed. Specialty services are now available during the day for referrals from family veterinarians and medical transfers from Emergency Care.
Veterinary Specialty Services include:
Our emergency veterinary hospital phone numbers are unchanged. For 24-hour emergency care at our north location, call 512-331-6121. Our south location is open after 6 pm and on nights, weekends and holidays; the phone number remains 512-899-0955. For emergency care in Round Rock, you can call 512-961-5200 for nights, weekends and holidays.
For more information regarding specific veterinary specialty services, please contact CTVSEH at 512-892-9038 or ask your family veterinarian.
