Your favorite Northwest Austin veterinarian just got new upgrade. After a few months of construction, we're proud to announce that renovations are finally complete at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin.
Our most recent upgrade is the latest chapter in a long story of growth and improvement. Not only have we updated our look but we have kept up with latest equipment and facilities. We first opened in Northwest Austin 30 years ago when the building and surrounding area looked completely different. Since our early days as a single suite, we have tripled the size of our offices, added parking, and completely renovated the interior twice. With this latest renovation, we have added an eco-friendly roof liner that reflects solar rays, stone accents, and fresh stucco.
Additionally, we now are open 24 hours at our North hospital location. Along with our updated look, we have upgraded our credit card equipment, our digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment, and updated our in-house lab equipment. Of course, we continue to offer the best facilities for endoscopies, ventilators and oxygen chambers. Our locally owned and operated emergency veterinarian hospital has been a Northwest Austin fixture for three decades, and as our local community has grown and matured, we are proud to say that we have too.
We began construction in August, the hottest month of the year, so we understand the toll that Texas heat can take. Now, our shaded windows and reflective roof liner allow us to keep our indoor offices at a cool and comfortable temperature all year round.
Our new roof liner also means we will use less electricity on air conditioning. This liner marks our latest effort to help reduce Austin's carbon footprint and prevent energy waste.
Tell us what you think of our new look! If you've driven past our Northwest Austin location or brought your pet in for an emergency vet visit since the renovation, share your thoughts in the comments. Are you happy with our conservation efforts? What do you like best about our new look?
